Mukurthi National Park is situated at a distance of 27 km from Ooty in Nilgiri district. The park was established in 2001 and spread over 78.46 km. It was also famously known as Nilgiri Tahr National Park.
Timings
All days from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm except tuesdays the zoo is closed.
Entry Fees
Rs. 15 for adults, Rs. 10 for children

Attractions
The major attraction of the park is Sambhar, Nilgiri tahr, Barking deer, Nilgiri marten and otter, Jungle cat, Jackal etc. You can also see 58 species of trees and shrubs. There are beautiful birds in the zoo like laughing and whistling thrushes, woodcock, wild pigeon and black eagle etc.
