Another example of an actress who made her mark with her first film itself. It is relatively early days in her career and if she is able to sustain the momentum and carry her on in terms of characterization she will certainly make a mark on the film industry.

Sonakshi Sinha Early Life- She was born to Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. She has two brother LUV Sinha and Kush Sinha. Luv is also an aspiring actor.  She completed her school and then graduated in Fashion Designing from the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (SNDT) Women's University. Sinha started her career as  a model and first walked the ramp for the Lakme Fashion Week.  She is also a designer and has designed the costumes for   Mera Dil Leke Deko in 2005.

Sonakshi Sinha Film Career- She made her Bollywood debut in the film Dabaang (2010). The film starred Salman Khan. She essayed the role of a simple yet bold women and the actress took two years to prepare for the role. Firstly she shed weight for her character and also observed and picked up the intricacies of the village folk. It was not easy but she pulled it up and was awarded for the same. She received both Filmfare and IIFA awards. She did not have any release in 2011.

However the actress first Film in 2012 film Rowdy Rathore was a success at the box office. However Shirish Kunder film Joker starring Akshay Kumar did not do well commercially and critically. She also made a special appearance for the song Go Go Govinda in OMG. This was the first time in Bollywood actress essayed the role of gokul and the song ends with the actress breaking the Dahi Handi.

Sonakshi Sinha Upcoming Films- Sonakshi has been selective in terms of her choices of films. This is evident in the fact that she took a gap for almost a year before appearing in her next film Rowdy Rathore. However her upcoming films are back to films that include ‘Son of Sardar opposite actor Ajay Devgan that is slated to release as a film for Diwali and Arbaaz Khan’s Dabaang 2 that is slated for release in December. 

She has also signed a ‘Once upon a Time again’ a sequel to the  Once upon a time in Mumbai. In this film she stars opposite Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and is also the comeback film of actress Sonali Bendre. This film is set to release in 2013. The other confirmed projects that she has signed so far include Lootera, Sajid Nadiawala's Judwaa 2 and  Prabhu Deva's Namak opposite actor Shahid Kapoor.

Sonakshi Sinha personal life- Apart from her interest in fashion and films Sonakshi also has a keen interest in Photography and reading books.  She also likes singing to music and in particular listening to rock acid Jass and hip hop styles. She is also very particular about her dressing and is choosy in terms of her preference of designer and clothing. She is also particular of her makeup and advocates that makeup should enhance the facial aspects in a positive manner.  She is also  sticks to essentials in terms of makeup.

Sonakshi diet- Though she advocates that she has a simple and staple diet she came under a continuous flak for her  body stature and was criticized by media and fashionistas. In particular the major reason for these is her indulgence of sweets and spicy food. However she has worked out a a tough schedule in terms of exercise. Apart from that she has also regulated her  levels of fat in carbohydrates. Apart she also puts in an additional 30 minutes on  work out.

Sonakshi Sinha Controversies- Sonakshi Sinha has aimed at being very low key in her personal life. She refrains from being bold and brazen the characteristic often associated with that of film stars and actresses. The controversy that got her really upset was doctored pictures of the actress flaunting a white bikini that circulated on the internet. There were also reports doing rounds in the media that the actress was at a cold war with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

The actress’s mother in defense stated the grapevine surrounding the tiff between Sonakshi and co actresses in the industry were the work of publicists and there was no such depth in media reports.  There were also media information speculating the linkup between actress and Ranveer Singh. The actress came out in statement dismissing such claims. The actress’s father was reportedly livid about such gossips that were being circulated. There were also reports suggesting that she dating Bunty Sachdev a divorcee Bunty Sachdev who happens to be a celebrity manager. The same individual in question once  shot to the light with the claim that he was dating Sushmita Sen.

Sonakshi Sinha Latest News- The actress has found a new furry love. The actress recently spent most of her time between shots with a new Rottweiler while shooting for the film Son of Sardar in Patiala. There a place close to the shooting spots where Rottweiler puppies were bred. She was engrossed with the pup that she spent most her time between scenes with the dog.  She has also had an intention of adopting the dog.
