Priyanka Chopra Quotes-
•On senuality –“Sensuality is a state of the mind”
•On working with new directors –“I am very open to new directors.”
•On Destiny -I'm lucky. I don't know whether I'm deserving or not. All I know is that I work damn hard for everything. And God helps those who help themselves. Every day is like an exam. I believe destiny and hard work go hand in hand. I was studying to be an engineer when my mom and my brother sent my pictures for the Miss India contest. I didn't even know about it. If that isn't destiny, what is?”
•On her affinity towards cinema- “I don't come from a film background. I haven't learned anything about films or film-making. But I have a thirst to know everything about my profession. I want to learn about cinematography, about editing, about music recordings, about post-production. So when people in the know talk, I willingly listen. Also, I'm not scared of working 20 hours a day.”
•On choice of roles- “I want the audience to be surprised by my character all the time. I want them to keep guessing about my roles, so I am doing more of such films and when a new director comes with such subjects I jump for that.”
•What attracts her to men- “After the eyes, it's the feet. I like men with clean feet."
•About relationships- "I don't think there's only one love. In my opinion, evry relationship has something new to offer."
•On being in one’s zone- “I think everyone has her own comfort level. We all have our priorities and USPs. When you're young, you need to cash in on your assets, whatever they might be. If they can sleep peacefully after what they do, good for them. I wouldn't do such roles because I'm not comfortable doing them. If I wear a swimsuit my discomfort would show, and the whole sensuality bit would fall apart.”
•On selection of scripts- “I'm choosy because you have to see to believe what kind of scripts filmmakers come up with, they are hilariously silly! I can't imagine from where they think of such stories. At times like that, you almost feel that Hindi cinema hasn't moved for decades. Out of so many that I hear, there might be only one or two worth considering. There's no choice but to be choosy.”
