It is wonder today looking back that the actor who is considered among the best in the new breed of actors was completely detached from films. He remained completely disconnected from films and was bought up in a middle class upbringing. The actor much like his gaaru (uncle) Chiranjeevi redefined the style element of the present times with his films. Gifted with acting prowess and agility the actor has lived out each role and has made his appearances a complete treat as far as the audience is concerned.
Allu Arjun Early Life- Allu was born to Allu Arvind and Nirmala. Hailing from the first family of Telegu cinema, his grandfather Allu Ram Lingaiah was a popular as comedy artist. His father Allu Aravind is a film produer. His uncles are Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Nagabandu and he is also the cousin of actor Ram Charan Teja. Both his brothers. His brothers are Allu Venkatesh and Allu Shrish. The actor lived a very quite childhood. He schooled at the PSBB School and later completed his school education from the A.M.M Matriculation high School. He then attended St. Patrick College in Chennai. The actor stated that in an interview that he was be speckled about his career choices. The turning point as far as he was considered was when the family moved to Chennai.
Allu Arjun Film Career- Arjun did work as a child actress in Vijetha (1986). When his family moved to Hyderabad the actor was offered a role in Daddy (2001). The actor made his debut with K. Raghavendra Rao’s Gangotri (2003). The film was a moderate success despite the movies songs being widely accepted by the audience. However his second film Arya (2003) made him a common name among the audiences. The film directed by Sukumar was a runaway success and raked in huge returns at the box office and consolidated him as an actor. His next film Bunny (2005) and Happy (2006) were commercial hits and the actor was christened as a style icon. Both the actors’ films were subsequently dubbed in other regional southern languages and also raked in considerable profits.
In the words of the notable film Critic Allu Arjun consolidated superstardom with the translation of his films. His films have also been dubbed into Hindi. In 2007 the actor starred in yet a commercial hit Desamuduru (2007) directed by Puri Jagangadh. The film raked in a record collection of 12.58 crores in the first week of its release. In the same years the actor made an appearance in his uncle films Shankar Dada Zindabad that performed rather mediocrly in the box office. Parugu (2008) directed by Bhaskar fetched him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In the next film the actor did Arya 2.
The film grossed well in the starting days of the agitation. However because of the Telangana agitation there was a considerable drop in the collections. The film ended up with mixed reviews however the film was dubbed in Malayalam and the film garnered a consolatory collection and was among the best films at the time. He then acted in Vardhu (2010). His portrayal of Cable Raju in Vedam won his second Filmfare Award for Best Actor. In 2011 he acted in the film Badrinath but this under his home banner Geetha Arts was an average grosser. His next film Julayi was a commercial hit at the box office.
