Samsung galaxy s4 launch date: March 14

Samsung has officially confirmed that the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 would be launched at an event in New York on March 14, 2013.  This will also be the first launch of a Samsung flagship phone in the US in almost three years. Speaking about the same, Samsung’s Mobile Division Chief JK Shin said that though the company decided to have the official launch in UK the South Korean multinational was flooded with a number of requests from US and this prompted company to select New York as the official venue for the phone's launch.

The New Galaxy S model is expected to feature a high powered and faster quad core processor with high resolution display and camera in comparison to its predecessor Samsung Galaxy s3. The past few quarters have also been tepedious and hard for the manufacturer who has lost its lead to the Apple in the US market. The company however is hopeful that it with its broad product lineup it would be able to bridge the gap and widen its advantage over Apple.
