Change in pattern of JEE Final

The Central Board of Secondary Education decided to give JEE Final exam aspirants the last opportunity to change their category and other details as per the state code of eligibility. CBSE announced this decision through a press release that stated that students could make the necessary changes online. The board stated that many requests and representations for the change in category (General/OBC/SC/ST/PWD) and corrections in details like name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID had prompted the decision.

 

However the board stated the corrections for the same should be made carefully as changes may affect the JEE 2013 Final Exam ranking of students. The other corrections i.e. candidate/mother/father’s name, mobile number, e-mail ID, date of birth, gender, etc. will be done by JEE (Main) office on the receipt of request from the candidates either through mail or post latest by 28.06.2013. The board also clarified that requests received after the stipulated date for change in pattern of JEE Final Exam would not be entertained.
