FD Alpaiwalla Museum

This museum is located at Kemps Corner in Mumbai and it is one of the most unique museums of Mumbai, because it is the only community museum in Mumbai . It is named after FD Alpaiwallawho who is a Parsi Merchant. The museum was established and opened for public in 1954 and it was restored again in 1984. The museum was run by Parsi Pancahyat of Bombay. Among many things a silver clock belonging to Sir Jamshedjee Jejeebhoy is one of the star displays. There is an archaic chest belonging to Dadabhai Nowroji. This is a place worth visiting for every parsis and also for the general public and children. This is a little unnoticed musueum of Mumbai but surely deserves more attention in the form of visitors and praises.
