The Bombay Natural History Society is one of the most exciting place to visit and its truly fascinating to visit this place atleast once in a lifetime. Founded in 1883, it is located at Churchgate near to and adjacent to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. It has one of the finest collection of birds and animals, who are scientifically preserved and kept. It has a great collection of species and evern the rarest of birds and animals are seen here. Today the BNHS is the biggest non-governmental organization in India undertaking conservation of nature and natural resources, education and research in natural history. The BNHS has more than 30 member countries. The Society's leading principle has been conservation based on scientific research. This is a must-visit place for families, childrens and nature lovers. One can also become a temporary member of this place and get access to the library and special visits and slide-shows which BHNS arranges.
