Bombay Art Gallery was established in 2003 with the vision of promoting 'classical-contemporary' Indian art and a unique group of young emerging artists. Since its founding, Bombay Art Gallery has curate a series of shows that highlight the overtly contemporary yet classically-inspired work of talented artists in the mediums of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and installation. The innovative thought-processes and dynamic work of these artists enrich India's contemporary art scene on the local, national and international levels. Bombay Art Gallery is pleased to support and promote these artists at its gallery space in Mumbai and furthers field. Bombay Art Gallery is proud to be one of Mumbai's leading galleries and is particularly active with a curatorial program of one or two exhibitions each month. The shows are widely attended by Mumbai's vibrant community of collectors, artists, journalists, and fellow gallergists. Bombay Art Gallery is located in Colaba, Mumbai's up-and-coming gallery district.
