Gandhara is a name to reckon with in the art scenario in Eastern India for more than a decade. Gandhara has emerged as a point of cultural and social interaction where artists and art lovers hold court. It promotes quality, provides opportunities and make discoveries.   In the past the Gallery has exhibited unique piece of artwork by artists like Maqbool Fida Husain, Francis Newton Souza, Ganesh Pyne, Ganesh Haloi, Jogen Chowdhury, Bikash Bhattacharjee. Tyeb Mehta, Arpita Singh, Ram Kumar,  Prabhakar Barwe, Anjolie Ela Menon, Manjit Bawa, Shyamal Dutta Roy, Lallu Prasad Shaw, Prabhakar Kolte, Dharmanaryan Dasgupta, Akbar Padamsee, Paritosh Sen, Manu Parekh, Sunil Das, Chitrovanu Mazumdar, Jayshree Chakravarty etc,.

Except on sundays and on public holidays, it is opened on all days between 10am to 6pm.
