WPIL Limited is an India-based company. The Company is engaged in the business of water handling, which includes from supply of pumps to turnkey project execution. It is primarily engaged in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, installation and servicing of vertical and horizontal pumps of various sizes required for lift irrigation/irrigation schemes and thermal/nuclear power plants. The Company’s principal products include vertical pumps, submersible pumps and iron castings. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2010 (fiscal 2010), the Company produced 2,992 numbers of vertical pumps and 493 numbers of horizontal pumps. As of March 31, 2010, the Company held 40% interest in Clyde Pump India Private Limited.
