Wellpack Papers & Containers Ltd (WPPCL) was incorporated on October 17, 1994. It is one of the leading producers of high quality paper products in India, having contemporary manufacturing equipments along with a strong dedicated team. It started corrugated box manufacturing in the year 1985 in the name of Wellpack Packaging, a partnership firm with an installed capacity of 1000 MT per annum. This was then increased to 2400 MT p.a. during 1990-91. It achieved a capacity utilisation of 84% in the year 1993-94 and has been able to maintain the same till now. Kraft paper proposed to be manufactured under the company's present backward integration program is the basic raw material required for the production of corrugated boxes that Wellpack manufactures at present.
