Voltamp Transformers is engaged in manufacturing of various types of transformers. Incorporated in 1967, the company has installed capacity to manufacture oil filled power and distribution transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 KV class, resin impregnated dry type transformers up to 5 MVA, 11 KV class and cast resin dry type transformers up to 7.5 MVA, 33 KV class. The total installed capacity is around 5000 MVA per annum. The company receives orders from various government and semi-government projects, refineries, fertilizer plants, various other industries and state electricity boards. Many of these transformers are specified by consulting engineering companies.
