Punjab Communications Limited was incorporated in 1981. The company is a telecom and information technology (IT) company, which is engaged in the business of manufacturing of telecom products. The Company’s activities include telecom equipment manufacturing, IT and software solutions, turnkey projects, and repair and maintenance. The company provides telecom solutions covering transmission, radio, switching, multiplexing and software. Its products include switching and networking equipments, broadband, Wireless, STM1/4/16, power line carrier communication equipment (PLCC), power plants, security products. The Company has tied-up with HUAWEI Group for supply of technology products in the transmission, such as synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH), dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) and Super WDM to the customers in India. The Company has two subsidiaries, namely PCL Telecom Limited and Punjab Digital Industrial Systems Limited.
