Parrys Sugar Industries Limited (PSIL) is a distinguished and rapidly expanding sugar producer in India. The company was incorporated in 1986. The company is the Agri business division of the GMR Group, one of the fastest and most progressive business houses in India. The company produces superior grade sugar and associated products at state-of-the-art Integrated Sugar Complexes. The sugar manufacturing facility of the company is certified with ISO 9000:2001 and the distillery is certified 'zero-effluent'. It has three sugar plants located at Sankili in Andhra Pradesh having a cane crushing capacity of 5000 tons per day, co-generation capacity of 16 megawatt and a distillery unit capacity of 40 kilo liters per day; Haliyal in Karnataka having a cane crushing capacity of 4000 tons per day (TCD), co-generation capacity of 24 megawatt and a distillery unit capacity of 45 kilo liters per day, and Ramdurg in Karnataka having a cane crushing capacity of 3500 TCD and co-generation capacity of 6 megawatt expandable to 13 megawatt.
