Lloyds Metals & Engineers Limited (LMEL) is operating 2, 70,000 TPA capacity Sponge Iron Plant. It is also engaged in handling of Iron and Steel (Mostly flat products) from its plant at Nagpur and Mumbai. The company was incorporated as Nagarjuna Metals & Engineers in April 1977. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012, the Company commissioned it’s 30 mega -watts (MW) co-generation Waste Heat Recovery Based (WHRB) Power Plant, at Ghugus, Maharashtra. The production of the division was 24.54 millions of watt-hours (MWH) during the year.
