JCT Limited was incorporated in the year 1946. The company is a large manufacturer of textiles and is the flagship company of the Thappar Group. The company was the first textile manufacturer in the country to introduce eco-friendly fabrics made of organic cotton and its textile division was the first in the industry to be accredited with an ISO 9001 certification in 1996. The company’s other operations include Filament Yarn. The company has manufacturing facilities located at Punjab and is now one of the leading manufacturers in its industry. JCT Limited reported sales of INR 8.05 billion (US$146.93 million) for the fiscal year ending March of 2012.
