IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited (IRB) was incorporated on 27th July, 1998. The company is engaged in the road build-operate-transfer (BOT). The company also undertakes development of various infrastructure projects in the road sector through several Special Purpose Vehicles. The company, along with its subsidiaries has constructed or , operated and maintained around 8,000 lane kms of road length so far and one of the major road developers in the country. The work spans of IRB from building of roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels, recently the company diversified its business into real estate development sector also. It has been part of construction of some of the most prestigious highways of India. Currently it has about 3404.40 lanes KM operational and about 2330.4 lanes KM under development. One of most notable project acquired by the company is Mumbai Pune Expressway.
