Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) is one of India's leading natural gas distribution companies. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in the National Capital Region (NCR) of New Delhi. The company supplies natural gas to major households in Delhi. As of March 2011, IGL supplied piped natural gas to over 250,000 homes and hundreds of commercial and industrial establishments in the NCR. It also operated 278 CNG filling stations for natural gas vehicles. The company has entered into a joint venture with Siti Energy to set up City Gas Distribution Projects at Sonepat and Panipat located at Haryana. The company is looking to expand their network to other neighboring cities like Chandigarh, Panipat, Sonepat, Rahtak, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad and Meerut.
