Sirdar Carbonic Gas Company (SIRCG), incorporated in 1904, is organized into the two main business segments of manufacturing and refilling elastic calendar bowls, and leasing. In technical collaboration with Voith Paper GmbH, Germany, one of the leading manufacturers of calender machine world-wide for the paper manufacturing and converting industry, the company manufactures high efficiency liquid extraction rollers at its Ambernath plant near Mumbai, which can replace conventional rubber rolls in the textile industry. Leasing activities include leasing of plant, machinery, motor vehicles and business center services. It has taken the initiative to boost up exports of elastic calender bowls and cotton spun laps. Aristocrat Investments, Assured Investments, Earnest Holdings, Prudential Holdings, Sukta Investment, and Western Holdings are subsidiaries.
