Gupta Synthetics Limited (GSL) was incorporated on 7th August, 1984. The company is engaged in production of Nylon & Polyester POY, FDY, Draw Texturizing, Drawn Twisting yarn, Draw Winding Dope Dyed Yarn, all under one roof, having production capacity of 60000 MT per annum and a sales turnover of over Rs 400 crore. It has factories at Pipodara (Surat district), Gujarat, and Silvassa with installed capacities of 1500 kg for texturizing of yarn; 600 kg for twisting of yarn and 70,000 meter pm for weaving of cloth. Its products are marketed under the 'Gupta' brand name. During the year ended March of 2012, sales at Gupta Synthetics Limited were INR 3.42 billion (US$62.98 million).
