In 2004, upon conversion of Private Limited to a Public Limited Company, the name changed from Shringar Cinemas Private Limited to Shringar Cinemas Limited. In 2008, the name changed from Shringar Cinemas Limited to Fame India Limited. Today, Fame India Limited has 27 properties, 102 screens in 13 cities with presence in states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Karnataka, with plan to open another 4 screens at Chandigarh and with seating capacity of 986 people.
