Amar Remedies Limited was established in 1995 in Surat. The company has first developed a toothpaste, which was the only vegetarian tothpaste of 1990s. In 1998 ARL launched Amar Strong and Amar Regular and Amar White. The company had set up another plant at Dman. Now the company manufactures regular cosmetics, herbal products whcih are sold in countries like Dubai, Nigeria, Ghana, Suda, Tanzania and Panama. The company is listed on BSE as well as NSE. The company is also setting up another plant at Dehradun.
